Church Education

We provide a free 1- 1 ½ hour workshops (time dependent on discussions) for churches and other organizations. Attendees leave with solid, relevant knowledge and the tools they need to recognize abuse situations and know how to care for those suffering.

Our goal for this workshop is to help you Embrace, Educate, and Engage. You will:

  • Learn the prevalence of DV, in society, and within our churches

  • Identify various types of DV

  • Recognize characteristics of both victims and abusers

  • Learn practical ways your church can purposefully and effectively act to care for these hurting families

In addition to the material incorporated within the presentation, churches will also receive a folder with valuable information for developing a personal safety plan for those in need; as well as a list of local resources and contact information for a variety of needs including counseling, shelters, victims assistance, food, clothing, financial assistance, etc.
